Understanding the aromas, flavors, and textures of wine engages more of the brain than any other experience. In this class we explore, through tastings, fun demonstrations, and lively discussion, how it is humanly possible to know and appreciate all that is going on in a glass of wine. The attendees will gain insight into the different parts of tasting wine and how those components come together through the craft of winemaking, where the sum is greater than the parts.

A selection of hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine will be served at the end of class.
